Step outside onto your covered patio, where you’ll find a four-seater table and chairs — perfect for enjoying a leisurely breakfast or an evening meal while taking in the peaceful farm surroundings.
The enclosed rustic garden adds to the charm and includes a cold-water outdoor shower, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days.
For those who enjoy a traditional South African braai, there’s a cosy fire pit/braai area where you can enjoy an evening around the fire.
Firewood and braai wood are available for purchase on the farm.
A Little Farm Life
The Lark is situated on a working farm, so guests can expect the sights, sounds and character that come with farm life.
The property is also home to four friendly resident farm dogs, who are very enthusiastic about welcoming visitors and may occasionally greet you with a rather energetic jump!
If you’re lucky, you may also hear — or even catch a glimpse of — the beautiful white barn owls that have made their home in one of the old water tanks on the farm tower.

The Lark is a peaceful farm retreat, and we ask all guests to respect the tranquillity of the farm and surrounding property.
Only registered guests included in the booking are permitted on the property. No additional visitors or day guests are allowed under any circumstances.
No parties, events or gatherings are permitted.
Loud music, excessive noise or any behaviour that may disturb other guests, residents or the farm animals is strictly prohibited.
